Why us?
Pluszowa Akademia, is a non-public kindergarten in Warsaw (in Ursynów, Bemowo, Ochota and Mokotów/Wilanów District), where we comprehensively stimulate the development of the child. Under the supervision of caring and competent teachers, the toddler discovers the world and his/her abilities in a creative and joyful way. We pay special attention to his/her individual needs, potential and abilities. We know that motivation is the most important thing in the education process, so our aim is to foster in children a natural desire for knowledge and development. The little graduates of our kindergarten know well that they have the right to their own interests, opinions and fascinations. They are aware of the value of intellectual development. Pluszowa Akademia’s offer is a new quality based on respect for the child and its needs, developing the kid’s independence and self-confidence. We have time for all children and for each individual child! We teach the way children like – engaging all their senses, while providing an atmosphere of acceptance and security. What makes us unique?
Adaptation
In our kindergarten we focus on gradual and unforced adaptation, which is perfectly thought-out and fully adjusted to the individual needs of the Parent and Child. In the adaptation process we work closely with the parents, thanks to this we gently introduce the childrem to kindergarten activities and customs at an appropriate pace.
Safety
We place particular emphasis on the safety of children. Our kindergarten is entered in the register of Non-Public Kindergartens of the City of Warsaw, which means that it meets formal safety requirements. We have positive opinions of the Fire Chief and the State Sanitary-Epidemiological Station. The kindergarten is inaccessible to unauthorised persons, each entrance to the facility is controlled by an intercom. The premises are equipped with video surveillance.
Transport during excursions and after-school activities is handled by a licensed transport company. Walks outside the preschool premises take place in reflective waistcoats and with a special “snake”.
Interiors
We strive for consistency and a holistic approach to rearing children, education and nursery school management. Interiors are designed based on research into the impact of spatial arrangement and colours on children’s development. We place great emphasis on the aesthetics of the rooms and the entire interior, the homely atmosphere and the equipment. Our kindergarten has spacious and naturally lit rooms. Each is equipped with the highest quality certified furniture, tables and chairs adapted to the height of the children and a wide range of educational aids and certified toys.
In addition, our nursery schools have:
- classrooms for additional activities
- bathrooms with special washbasins and toilets
- playgrounds that meet all safety requirements and standards
Staff and specialists
We only work with a trained and experienced staff of educators. Each of them has completed a first aid course. The children are under the constant care of specialists: psychologist, special educator, neuro-speech therapist. We cooperate with a nearby counselling centre, offering support in organising sensory integration therapy for our children.
The psychologist observes the children in the group during activities and play, assesses their psychomotor development, recognises their potential and individual needs, helps solve emotional, educational and social problems, explains the causes of difficulties in the children’s behaviour, advises the educators and supports their work. She also conducts workshops for educational staff and provides advice and assistance to parents.
The neuro-speech therapist implements a programme of preventive speech therapy and neurologopedics therapy. The main aim of these classes is to prevent speech defects and speech disorders, as well as to support the development of language skills, which will determine the child’s successes in school education. Children requiring therapy have the opportunity to take advantage of additional paid individual classes with a specialised neuro-speech therapist, organised on the premises of our kindergarten.
Playgrounds
Each of the Pluszowa Akademia kindergartens has its own playgrounds with appropriate, safe equipment that has all safety certificates and approvals. Every day, regardless of the weather, we enjoy outdoor activities, because we know how perfectly it affects the development of immunity in children.
Healthy cuisine
Pluszowa Akademia focuses on food of the highest quality – we avoid sugar or highly processed products in the meals on offer. For little allergy sufferers we are able to provide a fully balanced diet with the necessary exclusions, e.g. gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free etc. Our mission is to take care of all children’s needs – including nutritional ones.
